2018 Revisions
October Calendar Year (CY) 2018 Quarterly Update to the Medicare Physician Fee Schedule Database (MPFSDB) – The following codes have been added to the MFSDB effective for dates of service on and after October 1, 2018: G9978, G9979, G9980, G9981, G9982, G9983, G9984, G9985, G9986, and G9987.
On February 9, 2018, Congress passed the Bipartisan Budget Act of 2018. As a result of this ACT, the 2018 MPFS file downloads and search tool linked below have been updated.

Ambulatory Surgical Center (ASC) Fees
Revised Partial January 2018 Ambulatory Surgical Center (ASC) Payment Rates Now Available
The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) identified an error in the January 2018 ASC Payment Rates for Covered Surgical and Ancillary Services File; specifically, incorrect payment rates for CPT codes 22867 and 22869. As a result, a partial January 2018 ASC Fee Schedule has been issued that includes corrected ASC facility payment information for these two codes. Claims for 22867 and 22869 received prior to the implementation of this updated ASC fee schedule, will be reprocessed.

Anesthesia Conversion Factor
March 7, 2018 Revision: We have updated the locality-specific anesthesia conversion factors for CY 2018 to include the work geographic index floor of 1.00. These updated locality-specific anesthesia conversion factors also have a retroactive effective date of January 1, 2018. Not all locations have changed as a result of this revision.
